Front Kick Deflect and Counter
Deflecting the opponent’s front kick to the side gives multiple opportunities for counter striking. In the video, a mid-level roundhouse kick is shown. If the opponent drops his guard while performing the front kick, a deflect followed by a fast high kick to the head can result in a KO. Depending on the distance, for example a straight punch or knee could be used in place of the kick.
